MANILA, Philippines - Four title bouts are on tap in the country’s mixed martial arts fans when Colt 45 and Universal Reality Combat Championship hold the Colt 45-URCC 15 “Onslaught” on Nov. 21 at the World Trade Center in Manila.
Baguio’s Mark “The Machine” Sangiao and Justin “The Shocker” Cruz of Spike 22 Guam collide in the featured match with Cruz staking his bantamweight crown in the event sponsored by Colt 45 and supported by Alaxan FR, Globe Tattoo, No Fear Pony & E-Games.
Zhang Tie Quan of China stakes his middleweight title against former titlist Caloy “Bad Boy” Baduria, who lost to Zhang in last year’s Colt 45 URCC “Indestructible” event.
The event, backed by Solar Sports, CS9, 99.5 RT, NU107, Getzmo? and Pinoy Exchange, also features the featherweight showdown between reigning titist Ali Khatibi of DEFTAC and veteran Andrew “The Snake” Benibe of Maic’s Gym.
Sabah Fadai of Cebu will go up against Ari Zarco of Maic’s Gym. Both fighters are outstanding strikers, but Fadai has an edge in grappling as he trains with the top grappling team in Cebu - the Garcie Barra Cebu.
Undefeated pinweight champion Roy Docyogen also puts his crown on the line against a formidable fighter from Manila.
Clashing in the other featherweight showdown are Luke Mark Catubig of Dumaguete and Manila’s Eric Kelly while many-time SEA Games gold medal winner in wrestler Marcus Valda of DEFTAC battles URCC heavyweight champion Vicente Pajaro.
