Bautista keeps lead in Boysen int’l bowling

ATBA’s Jaymee Bautista scored 831 (245-202-193-191) pinfalls yesterday to keep the ladies singles Class A lead in the 33rd Boysen-PBC International Open at Green Valley Bowling Center in Pasig City.

TBAM’s Joan Yambao tallied 826 (210-192-237-187) for second place while Unique’s Dinah Basuel had 825 (195-252-160-218) for third.

In the men’s singles Class A division, TBAM’s Miguel Crisol was first with 963 pinfalls followed by TCBA’s Alex Ngo (953) and TBAM’s Arvin Fernando (934).

TBAM’s Biboy Rivera scored 994 pinfalls to keep the men’s singles Class O lead while PBA’s Ver Jacinto scored 948 for the Class B lead.

Korean Koo Hyun Jee tallied 1016 pinfalls while PBAP’s Irene Benitez had 958 and teammate Sharon Limansantoso scored 943 to keep the top three positions in the ladies singles Class O division of this tournament sponsored sanctioned by the International Bowling Federation (FIQ) and the Asian Bowling Federation (ABF) with support from Generali Pilipinas, Boysen, Wave Bowling Products, Prima Pasta, Bowlmart, Kegel Asia, Holiday Inn Manila Galleria, ILO Construction, HS Pow Construction, Mabz Builders, Axis Construction, Harpoon Marine, Pagaling Castillo Designers and Green Valley Country Club.

In the team event, Liza del Rosario, Liza Clutario and Cecilia Yap tallied 1315 pinfalls to keep RP Team on top in the ladies Class O division.

The Korean squad of Gye Min Young, Kim Hyo Mi and Koo Huyn Jee scored 1245 pinfalls for second while another national team composed of Liza del Rosario, Irene Benitez and Jojo Canare placed third with 1226 pinfalls.

The RP Youth of Amielyn Sisperez, Angeli Lao and Ditas Red was first in the ladies Class A divison with 1125 pinfalls. PBA, composed of Sandra Enriquez, Nelia Santos and Susan San Diego, was second with 1089 pinfalls while another PBA team made up of Santos, San Diego and Cecile Cuesta, was placed third with 1076 pinfalls.
