Atoning for a lackluster effort in his team’s 67-70 loss to the Jewelers last week, Peter Jun Simon whipped up a second quarter storm as he came up with 15 points that set the tone for the rout in the league’s most lopsided game so far this conference.
Simon finished the game with 21 markers, shooting eight-of-10 from the field in just 15 minutes of action to lift the reigning Unity Cup champions to their first triumph in two outings.

The Tigers thus evened their card at 1-1 while dealing the Archers their second straight loss.
It was a bitter defeat for the Archers, who led, 55-39, going into the final period but were held to just six points by the tough-defending Tigers.
ICTSI actually had a chance to steal the win but Cholo Villanueva’s baseline jumper bounced off the rim as Compton plucked the rebound to seal the victory.
