NCBA, coming off an 84-82 upset of erstwhile unbeaten Philippine School of Business Administration-QC on Tuesday, faces Colegio de San Lorenzo at 12 noon followed by the 3 oclock duel between two La Salle schools from Taft and Dasmariñas.
St. Francis of Assisi, after a 76-47 rout of Olivarez College on Tuesday, is on top of the eight-team field by its lonesome at 4-0 followed by PSBA-QC at 3-1 and Emilio Aguinaldo College at 3-2.
The Dasmariñas-based Archers tote a 2-2 record while their counterparts from Taft are playing only their first game in the newly-formed league backed by Villa de Oro-Boracay, Hacienda Grill, Winlink Travel, Wilson balls and the Philippine Basketball Association.
NCBA and Colegio de San Lorenzo are tied at 1-3 followed by Olivarez at 1-4.
After todays doubleheader, the UCAA brings its act to Araneta Coliseum with St. Francis and PSBAQC playing in the preliminary game to Game 2 of the PBA Commissioners Cup best-of-seven finals between Batang Red Bull Thunder and Talk N Text Phone Pals.
