Shanghai Sharks ni NBA star Yao Ming sasagupa sa Gilas Pilipinas II ngayon

Russell Cadayona - Pang-masa

“I’m afraid it may not happen, my injury will not allow me to do that plus there’s no jersey for me anymore,” sabi ng 7-foo-6 na si Yao kahapon sa isang press conference para sa ‘Philippine-China Friendship Games’ sa Grand Ballroom ng Solaire Hotel and Casino sa Pasay City.

“We did watch some of the game tapes of the Philippine team before the trip,” wika ni Wang.

“I was expecting a full lineup of the team. But I’m not sure if they will play a full team,” wika ni Wang.

“We fully respect our opponent. We are prepared. Hopefully, it will be an exciting game,” wika ni Yao  sa Sharks, magtatampok kina Chinese national team members Liu Wei at Zhang Zhaoxu.

Ipaparada ng Gilas Pilipinas sina naturalized player Marcus Douthit, June Mar Fajardo, Japeth Aguilar, Gabe Norwood, Jeff Chan at Gary David at sina cadet members Greg Slaughter, Kevin Alas, RR Garcia, Garvo Lanete, Matt Ganuelas, Jake Pascual at Ronald Pascual.
