Mojdeh, Dula nanguna sa mga MOS awardees

MALAY, Aklan , Philippines  -- Pina­ngu­nahan nina Micaela Jas­mine Mojdeh ng Imma­culate Heart of Mary College-Parañaque at Marc Bryan Dula ng Wisenhei­mer Academy ang mga Most Outstanding Swimmer awardees sa katatapos na 115th Philippine Swimming League (PSL) National Series - 2nd Gov. Miraflores Swim Cup dito.

Nakumpleto ni Mojdeh ang matamis na sweep sa lahat ng kaniyang anim na events para makuha ang MOS award sa girls’ 10-year category.

Namayagpag siya sa 200m Individual Medley, 50m butterfly, 50m breaststroke, 50m backstroke, 50m freestyle at open water.

Sa kabilang banda, na­kasungkit rin ng anim na ginto si Dula mula sa pana­lo niya sa 200m Individual Medley, 50m butterfly, 50m breaststroke, 50m backstroke, 50m freestyle at open water - para makuha ang boys’ 10-year class.

Umariba rin sina Marie Joe Borres ng Capiz Tur­bo Shark Swim Club (49 points) at Kate Zaira Ro­ber­to ng Aklan Swimming Team (54 points) na siyang umani ng MOS plum sa girls’ 12-year at girls’ 8-year, ayon sa pagkakasunod.

Ang iba pang MOS winners ay sina Johan Pablo Angelo Gomez (6-under), Aishel Cid Evangelista (7), Master Charles Janda (8), Lord Benedict Janda (9), Jennuel Booh De Leon (11), Jermain Russelle Eulin (12), Lucio Cuyong II (13), Lowestein Julian Laza­ro (14), Ony Valencia (15) at Kobe Soguilon (16-over) sa boys; at sina Roselle Ange­la Palma (7), Azryle Jeea Garcia (9), Joanna Amor Cervas (11), Angela Figalan (13), Riandrea Chico (15) at Laika Mae Enero (16-over) sa girls.

“It’s really hard to deve­lop a swimmer at a very young age but we’re not getting tired of guiding them until they achieve their dreams especially those who are aiming to qualify and eventually win medal in the Olympics,” wika ni PSL President Susan Papa sa kanilang paghahanap ng mga bagong talento.

Tatlong bagong rekord ang naitala sa torneo mu­la kina Mojdeh sa 50m free­style (30.86 seconds), Cuyong sa 50m breaststroke (33.21 seconds) at Kyla Soguilon sa girls’ 12-year 50m butterfly (32.13 seconds).

Nakahirit rin ng me­dalya sa kanilang mga events sina King Roberto, Asha Segotier, Joan Perlas, Jaymiel Genecela, Bem Calibjo, King Salazar, Jhoey Gallardo, Micaela Dula, Krissa Requiola, Daniela Requiola, Lance Magno, Elisha De Emoy, Gian Gomez, Gregory Su­mile, Triza Tabamo, Cas­siopea Calibjo, Ma­rielle Montenegro, Janine Degoma, Elise Pelayo, Yza Alfaro, Shan Diente, Allysa Jizmundo, Bain Paderes, Karla Labayen at Remogenes Sobretodo.
