Trinidad, Gonzales bumandera sa MOS Motivational awardees
MANILA, Philippines – Sina Luis Mikael Trinidad ng Baguio at Sean Benjamin Gonzales ng Manila ang nanguna sa mga itinanghal bilang Most Outstanding Swimmers sa Motivational Division sa 86th Philippine Swimming League (PSL) National Series na tinawag din bilang Baguio Halloween Swim Meet sa Athletic Bowl Swimming Pool sa Baguio City.
Si Trinidad ay nagkaroon ng 40 puntos para sa MOS trophy sa boys’ 14 years habang si Gonzales ay may 40 puntos din para sa boys’ 9 years category.
“A lot of good swimmers have emerged in this competition especially in the motivational division. We will continue guiding them, as we want to ensure that these kids are on a right track. This is part of our grassroots development program,” ani PSL president Susan Papa.
Ang iba pang MOS awardees ay sina Jameela Kristein Del Valle (6-under),Jaymi Alexis Tamayo (7), Calyn Zerelle Batac (8), Anjolie Gabriel Novillas (9), Sophia Ysabell Batac (10), Carlyn Kate Kewan (11), Roany Angelique Tica (12), Glaiza Ortiguerra (13), Janzel Buan (14) at Mary Beatriz Tolentino (15-over) sa girls’ class.
Nanalo sa boys’ category sina Jeanne Dominic Bongotan (6-under), Nathan Montenegro (7), Justin Gallardo (8), Ron Jacob Tamayo (10), Aldrin Conrad Ortiguerra (13) at Nathan Angelo Retuta (15-over).
Ang iba pang kinilala ay sina Tania Hussain, Hannah White, Behrouz Mohammad Mojdeh, Inigo Batac, Wania Hussain, Anet Aqui, Alea Bai, Justine Rafanan, Ernest Baldio, Aaron Tamayo, Irvin Montenegro, Sean Romero, Lawdean Haya, Adriena Batac, Elaine Galang, Aaliah Baldio, Ingrid Belingnon, Heaven Asong, Gino Parks, Duke Romero, Miguel Montenegro, Julles Salazar at Justin Montenegro.
Isang qualifying event ang kompetisyon para sa Summer World University Games bukod sa Phuket Invitational Swimming Championship sa Thailand at Indian Ocean All-Star Challenge sa Australia.
