MANILA, Philippines — Apat na opisyal ng Office of the Vice President (OVP) sa ilalim ni Vice President Sara Duterte na binalewala ang contempt ng blue ribbon panel ng Kamara ang ipinag-utos na arestuhin na matapos na muli na namang umiwas sa pagdinig nitong Miyerkules.
Kabilang sa mga ito sina OVP assistant chief of staff and Bids and Awards Committee Chair Lemuel Ortonio, Special Disbursing Officer (SDO) Gina Acosta, dating DepEd Assistant Secretary Sunshine Charry Fajarda at SDO Edward Fajarda.
“This is already our sixth hearing. They were given six opportunities to attend. Regardless of their excuse, I don’t find it justifiable,” ani Manila Rep. Joel Chua, Chairman ng House Committee on Good Government and Public Accountability.
Kaugnay nito, ipinadala na ng Committee Secretariat ang arrest order sa tanggapan nina National Bureau of Investigation Director Jaime Santiago, PNP chief Gen. Rommel Marbil, Criminal Investigation and Detection Group chief Brig. Gen. Nicolas Torre III maging sa hepe ng Mandaluyong City Police at Eastern Police District.
Ang mga pinatawan ng contempt at arrest order ay isinailalim na sa immigration lookout bulletin kasama sina OVP Chief of Staff Zuleika Lopez, Financial Services Director Rosalynne Sanchez at Chief Accountant Julieta Villadelrey na napilitan ng dumalo sa pagdinig matapos ang maraming imbitasyon at subpoena.
