MANILA, Philippines —  Idineklara ng Malacañang ang Pebrero 9 bilang special non-working day sa buong bansa dahil sa pagdiriwang ng Chinese New Year.

Sa inilabas na Proclamation No. 435 na nilagdaan ni Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin, sa ganitong paraan ay mabibigyan ng pagkakataon ang mga Filipino na magdiwang ng Chinese New Year.

“The declaration of 09 February 2024, Friday, as an additional special non-working day throughout the country will give the people the full opportunity to celebrate the Chinese New Year and enable our countrymen to avail of the benefits of a longer weekend,” nakasaad pa sa nilagdaang proclamation ni Bersamin.
