MANILA, Philippines — Nasa mahigit 200 government officials ang sasailalim sa lifestyle check ng Presidential Anti-Corruption Commission (PACC).
Sinabi ni PACC Commissioner Greco Belgica, kabilang dito ang 10-15 officials ng Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) na dating naging chairman, general manager at board members mula 2016 kasama na ang nagbitiw na si GM Alexander Balutan.
Ayon kay Belgica, ang isinasagawang lifestyle check ng PACC ay may koordinasyon ng NBI, NICA at iba pang government agencies.
Magsasagawa rin sila ng lifestyle check sa mga opisyal at empleyado ng DENR, DPWH.
“We have formed a super response team to act on complaints submitted via gov’t complaints hotline, 8888. PACC joins probe officials with salary grade 8 & up. We have agreed to enter into an operational partnership to prevent and eliminate corruption, swift processing of complaints from all over the country,” ani Belgica.
“Sa BIR, 13 na napasuspinde at nakasuhan, and yet they seem not to be changing the system,” dagdag ng PACC chief.
