Senate-House joint probe sa Mamasapano hirit ni Biazon
MANILA, Philippines - Gusto ni dating AFP chief at ngayo’y Muntinlupa City Rep. Rodolfo Biazon na pag-isahin ang imbestigasyon ng Senado at Kamara kaugnay ng madugong insidente sa Mamasapano.
Sinabi ni Biazon na mas mainam ang joint hearing ng dalawang kapulungan lalo na para sa mga resource person na pawang opisyal.
“We are asking the presence of, for example the commander of West Mindanao Command, what if something happens there today while he is here? Are we not taking away the presence of these officials from the primary function that they have to perform in this country?”
“My point in raising this is to emphasize the need for coordination with the other House para hindi po tayo nagko-conflict ng scheduling. Kawawa naman po itong mga ito (resource persons) na hindi nila malaman kung saan sila pupunta.”
Sa resolusyon ni Biazon, partikular na tinukoy nito ang pag-imbita sa tatlong kalihim na sina DILG Sec. Mar Roxas, Defense Sec. Voltaire Gazmin at Justice Sec. Leila de Lima, bukod pa kina AFP chief Gregorio Catapang, PNP OIC chief Leonardo Espina at iba pa.
Dagdag-katwiran ni Biazon sa joint hearing, pareho lang namang layunin ng Senado at Kamara na mapalabas ang katotohanan at magkaroon ng remedial legislation. (Butch Quejada)
