PNoy, Abad kinasuhan ng pandarambong dahil sa Malampaya

MANILA, Philippines – Nahaharap sa kasong pandarambong sina Pangulong Benigno Aquino III, Budget Secretary Florencio Abad at Agrarian Reform Secretary Virgilio delos Reyes kaugnay sa maanomalyang P125-million Malampaya Funds.

Bukod kina Aquino, Abad at De los Reye, inireklamo rin ng militanteng grupo Kilusang Magbubukid ng Pillipinas (KMP) ang itinuturong nasa likod ng pork barrel scam Janet Lim-Napoles at whistle-blower Benhuy Luy.

Sinabi ng KMP na inaprubahan ni Aquino ang pagpapalabas ng Malampaya funds ng Department of Budget and Management para ipasok sa mga pekeng non-government organization ni Napoles.

"The President and respondent public officials of the DBM ... should know and should have known that the Malampaya Funds were earmarked for energy development or energy-related projects," nakasaad sa reklamo ng grupo.

"But despite such fact, they approved the release of the funds to the DAR, which is in no way engaged in energy development," dagdag nila.

Nakalagda sa reklamo si KMP Chairman Rafael Mariano at iba pang opisyal ng grupo.

Sinabi ng Korte Supream na labag sa Saligang-Batas ang paggamit ng pondo ng Malampaya para sa mga proyektong walang kinalaman sa enerhiya.
