Mojdeh gusto ng magandang exit sa age group

MANILA, Philippines — May misyon si Philip­pine national junior record holder Micaela Jasmine Mojdeh sa 46th Southeast Asian Age Group Swimming Championships na ginaganap sa Bangkok, Thailand.

Ito ay ang magkaroon ng magandang exit sa ka­niyang huling interna­tional tournaments sa juniors di­vision.

Kaya’t inaasahang ila­labas na nito ang kaniyang waterbeast mode pa­ra maisakatuparan ang inaasam na grand exit.

“This will be my final SEA Age. I’m incredibly ho­nored to represent our country one last time in this meet,” ani Mojdeh.

Isa si Mojdeh sa 12 tan­kers na ipinadala ng Philippine Aquatics Inc. sa SEA Age Group Swimming Championships.

Kasama nito sina Shania Joy Baraquiel, Sophia Garra, Riannah Chantelle Coleman, Maxene Uy at Liv Abigail Florendo sa girls’ division.

Hahataw naman sa boys’ division sina Jamesray Ajido, Jan Mikos Tri­nidad, Peter Dean, Jay­dison Dacuycuy at Ivo Enot.

Kamakailan lamang ay galing si Mojdeh sa ma­tagumpay na kampan­ya sa 2024 World Aqua­tics Swimming World Cup na ginanap sa South Ko­rea at Singapore.

Matatandaang umabot sa finals si Mojdeh sa wo­men’s 200m butterfly kung saan nagtala ito ng da­lawang minuto at 16.58 segundo sa second leg ng World Cup sa Singapore.

Maliban sa World Cup, nasilayan na rin ito ng dalawang beses sa World Juniors Champion­ships kabilang na ang pag-entra nito sa semifinals noong 2022 edisyon sa Lima, Peru.
