BGYO, napisil na pumalit sa NSYNC!
Ang bongga ng P-pop boyband na BGYO dahil napili sila para awitin sa soundrack ng animated film na Trolls Band Together, ang Better Place na unang inawit ng ‘90s boyband na *NSYNC.
Binubuo ang BGYO nila Nate Porcalla, Gelo Rivera, Akira Morishita, JL Toreliza and Mikki Claver. Tinawag silang Aces of P-pop. Ang ibig sabihin ng BGYO ay “Becoming the change, Going further, You and I, Originally Filipino.”
Produkto sila ng ABS-CBN Star Hunt Academy at na-train sila ng South Korean coaches sa MU Doctor Academy.
In 2021, naging hit ang una nilang single na The Light at naging fastest P-pop music video to reach 1 million views. And second single nila na The Baddest ay nag-rank #1 sa two global charts, Billboard’s Next Big Sound and Pandora Predictions Chart.
Tampok din sa Trolls Band Together ang mga singing voices nila Justin Timberlake, Anna Kendrick, Troye Sivan, Eric Andre, Daveed Diggs, Kid Cudi, Zosia Mamet, RuPaul Charles, and Camila Cabello.
Komedyanang si Divine Aucina, nagustuhan ni Celia Rodriguez
Hindi inakala ng Kapuso comedian na si Divine Aucina na magiging close sila ng veteran actress na si Ms. Celia Rodriguez.
Noong una raw ay natatakot lumapit si Divine kay Tita Celia para nakipagkuwentuhan kapag naka-break sila sa set ng Stolen Life. Pero nalaman din niya na mabait at hindi mataray ang aktres.
“Ang sayang kausap kasi ang daming knowledge and she’s very generous about it. Kapag walang ganap, pinapakanta ako lagi ni Tita Celia ng kanyang favorite song na Never Enough (from the movie The Greatest Showman), go naman ako kakantahan ko siya ng mga gusto niyang songs para happy siya.”
Ikinatuwa naman ni Divine nang regaluhan siya ni Celia ng mga bangles.
“May mga bangles akong pagmamay-ari ng nag-iisang Celia Rodriguez! Aside from memories, i value the gifts, especially random gifts from colleagues. It’s like sharing a piece of them, extension siya ng appreciation nila sa iyo and I think that’s beautiful.”
Oprah naglabas ng mga paborito
Tuloy pa rin si Oprah Winfrey sa kanyang annual Oprah’s Favorite Things.
Nilabas sa website na Oprah Daily ang 112 items na pasok sa 2023 list ni Oprah’s ngayong holiday season.
