Guess what Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla’s next project is?

Well, they’ll be doing a movie, with again their Got to Believe director Cathy Garcia-Molina, at the helm.

She’s Dating a Stranger ang title ng bago nilang pelikula.

The people behind Got to Believe know that if its followers would have their way, gugustuhin  nilang huwag pang matapos ang serye. But as direct Cathy explained: “Supposedly to air lang kami for 24 weeks.

“Naka-26 weeks na kami. If we prolong it, magsa-suffer ang flow ng istorya. Na ayaw namin, siyempre, and, I guess, ganun din ang followers nina Kathryn at Daniel.

Used to directing films starring well-known love teams, such as Bea Alonzo and John Lloyd Cruz, John Lloyd and Toni Gonzaga, and John Lloyd and Sarah Geronimo, direk Cathy said she was curious and eager to direct a much younger tandem, tulad nila Kathryn at Daniel.

“But I have my doubt,” aniya. “Kasi, mga bata pa ‘yan.

“Kaya, surprised and happy ako that I enjoyed working with them,” pahayag pa ni Direk Cathy.

She is happy as well sa reaction ng viewers sa series.

By the way, out na in the market ang DVD ng Got to Believe and official soundtrack nito.

Both costs only P199 each.

Turning 18 on March 29, Kathryn doubts kung papayag na siyang makipag-lip service sa kanyang leading man, not necessarily Daniel, in her upcoming projects. Tulad nga nitong pagsasamahan nilang bagong movie, She’s Dating a Stranger.

Asked kung sila na ba ni Kathryn at ia-announce nila ito on her 18th birthday, ani Daniel: “Closer kami now than we used to.

“Pero, may mga restrictions kaming sinusunod. Alam naming kung ano pa ang mga bawal sa amin sa aming edad.

“We are grateful to our respective Moms that they are around to guide us,” pahayag pa ni Daniel.

Although, 11 years lang ang gap sa edad nina Coco Martini at Kim Chiu, dubbed as the current Prince and Princess of Teleserye, don’t expect a romance to develop between them. As Kim, at 23, said: “Hindi muna ako iibig. Sa daming magandang bagay na nangyayari sa career ko ngayon, I’d rather take advantage of it.

“As much as possible kasi, gusto kong matupad ang pangarap kong makapagpatuloy ng pag-aaral.”

Now engaged in two business ventures, a bakeshop and a fashion shop, which specializes on wedding dresses, Kim said she wants to take up Business Administration. “Willing akong ‘di maging full-time student, dahil gusto ko pa ring i-prioritize ang aking showbiz career.

“Pero sabi nga ng Ate Lakam (Lakambini, her eldest sibling), mas mabuti kung mag-aral ako ng tungkol sa business, bago ako mag-venture into more.”

Coco, on his part said, may mga investments din siya, which he’d rather not divulge. Not yet.

“Sa tamang panahon siguro. In the same way, seryoso ko na ring i-consider ang pag-aasawa.

At 34, I know I’m not getting any younger,” tukoy pa ni Coco.

Of their first team-up, the series, Ikaw Lamang, it is directed by Malu Sevilla, who was also at the helm of Coco’s last series Juan de la Cruz.

Set to air March 10, it is produced by Deo Edrinal’s own TV Production, Dreamscape, and also stars Jake Cuenca, Julia Montes, Cherie Gil, and Ronaldo Valdez.
