Punto Mo

Kim serious na kay Xian

YSTAR - Baby E - Pang-masa

Serious friends, that’s how Kim Chiu would describe her current closeness with Xian Lim, her leading man in the still showing box office movie, Bakit Hindi Ka Crush ng Crush Mo?

Wala pang serious relationships of any kind sa kanila. And she wants it that way, susog ni Kim.

Bakit Hindi Ka Crush… which officially earned Kim the official title, Box Office Star, since kumita na ito, as of now ng close to P130M, yes, P130M, is hers and Xian’s first team-up sa pelikula. They have been together in the series, My Binondo Girl at Ina, Kapatid, Anak.

Currently what keeps Kim busy is her one mother guesting in four episodes of Wansapanatym, titled My Fair Kasambahay.

In the series, she plays isang kasambahay na problemado sa kanyang young ward, bratty Elyza (child actor Miguel Vergara) who, because of the magical power bestowed on her by her fairy godmother played naman by John’s Sweet Lapus ay naturuan ang bata na maging magalang sa kanyang kapwa, lalo na sa lowly kasambahay.

“I love the chance na maging bahagi ng isang series na puno ng magic and where my comedy talent is put to good use,’’ ani Kim.

Directed by Jerry Lopez-Sineneng, My Fairy Kasambahay co-stars Kim with Angel Aquino, Sharmaine Buencamino, at Joseph Marco, among     others.

Angel walang pahinga para sa dalawang anak

‘Di ba si Angel (Aquino) napapagod?

Aba, wala yata siyang pahinga, kung ang number ng projects na kasali siya sa kasalukuyan ang pagbabatayan.

She is in the cast of On the Job (OTJ), the film, co-produced by Star Cinema and Reality Entertainment, which won raves when it had its premiere in the recent Cannes Filmfest, and a best actor trophy for Joel Torre (with whom Angel played wife sa movie) at the 2013 Puchon International Fantastic (PiFan) Film Festival in South Korea.

She, likewise, topbills an indie movie na isang transgender siya. Katatapos din lang niyang gumanap bilang kontrabida sa series na Apoy sa Dagat, where Angelica Panganiban played a dual role.

‘‘I love the job,’’ said Angel of her being an actress. ‘‘And when you love and enjoy something, wala kang nararamdamang pagod, kahit wala kang pahinga.’’

‘‘Pero, wala ba siyang nakakalimutan,’’ TV host Boy Abunda, in an interview, cautioned her. ‘‘Wala yata kaming nababalitaang kasalukuyang nali-link sa kanya.’’

It has been for sometime nga naman muli nang napabalitang nag-break sila ng kanyang fellow TV host boyfriend.

Nakangiti, birada ni Angel sa obvious na apprehension ni Boy sa current status ng kanyang love life: ‘‘In love ako with my family. Lalo na with my two daughters.’’

Now both in college, the girls are the reasons, she revealed, why she is working hard.

Estranged for her husband, she gave birth to the girls while still studying in a university in Baguio City.

As it is, he is only 18 years old at 17 naman si Kathryn.

Mag-enjoy muna siya bilang magka-MU, dapat maging payo mo kay Daniel, Karla.

Sayang kasi pag nagkataon, as the two’s current series together, Got to Believe, believe it or not, is creating a new trend among televiewers. Already, this project, directed by box-office director, Cathy Garcia-Molina, is getting to be the talk of the town.
