MANILA, Philippines — Mahigit 68.6 milyon na ang rehistradong botante sa bansa para sa 2025 National and Local Elections (NLE), gayundin sa Bangsamoro Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) parliamentary elections.

Sa datos na inilabas ng Commission on Elections (Comelec) kahapon, nabatid na hanggang nitong Oktubre 31, 2024, mayroon nang kabuuang 68,618,667 rehistradong botante ang Pilipinas.

Sa naturang bilang, 33,690,884 ang mga lalaking botante habang 34,927,783 naman ang mga babaeng botante.

Ayon sa Comelec, pinakamaraming registered voters sa Region 4A (Calabarzon) na nasa 9,764,170; Region 3 (Central Luzon) na may 7,712,535 voters; National Capital Region na may 7,562,858; Region 7 (Central Visayas) na may 4,407,337; at Region 5 (Bicol Region) na may 4,066,662.

Sumunod naman ang Region 1 (Ilocos Region) na may 3,651,539; Region 11 (Davao Region) na may 3,386,929; Region 8 (Eastern Visayas) na may 3,264,935; Region 10 (Northern Mindanao) na may 3,197,586; Region 6 (Western Visayas) na may 3,145,219; Negros Island Region (NIR) na may 3,069,836; Region 9 (Zamboanga Peninsula) na may 2,881,715; Region 12 (SOCCSKSARGEN) na may 2,709,058; BARMM with SGA na may 2,368,404; Region 2 (Cagayan Valley) na may 2,364,249; Region 4B (Calabarzon) na may 2,064,160; Region 13 (CARAGA) na may 1,889,616; at Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) na may 1,111,859.

Iniulat din ng Comelec na hanggang Setyembre 30, 2024, mayroong 532,837 applicant hits na natukoy sa pamamagitan ng Automated Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS) na isasailalim sa ‘removal of double or multiple registrants.
