‘Wag mag-panic sa hypersonic missiles ng China - AFP Chief
MANILA, Philippines — Umapela si Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Chief of Staff Gen. Romeo Brawner Jr. na huwag mag-panic kaugnay ng babalang isiniwalat ni Senadora Imee Marcos hinggil sa 25 lugar umano sa Pilipinas ang potensiyal na target ng hypersonic missiles ng China.
Sinabi ni Brawner na wala silang natatanggap na report hinggil sa nasabing mga hypersonic missiles .
“We should study it. So regarding this information, as I said, we have not seen it yet. But what we would like to discuss is that if possible, our countrymen should not panic because of this information”, pahayag ni Brawner.
“As to the report that Senator Imee mentioned about the 25 targets, alleged targets, we have not seen a report to this effect that there are 25 targets”, ayon pa kay Brawner.
Sinabi ni Brawner na makikipagkoodinasyon sila hindi lamang kay Senadora Marcos kundi maging sa iba pa na maaring may impormasyon hinggil sa nasabing mga hypersonic missiles.
Tiniyak naman ni Brawner na ang AFP kabilang ang sektor ng seguridad ng bansa ay nagtutulungan upang mabatid ang tunay na sitwasyon.
