Onoh isinusulong na maging naturalized para sa Gilas Women

MANILA, Philippines — May naturalized player din ang Gilas Women.

Isinusulong ang natu­ralization process ni UAAP Season 86 Rookie of the Year Favour Onoh upang makasama ng Gilas Women sa mga international tournaments.

Ito ang inihayag ni Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) executive director Erika Dy kung saan kasado na ang mga kinakailangang dokumento para maisakatuparan ang ang naturalization ni Onoh.

“Yes on the women’s side, we actually identified somebody who is going to be in a naturalization process, her name is Favour Onoh, and she has actually been playing here in the country for UP. She is also a scholar in UP, she is a very good candidate,” ani Dy.

Nakilatis na ng SBP si Onoh. At nakikita ng asosasyon na pasok ang estilo ni Onoh sa laro ng Gilas Women.

“We know her character. She has a good character inside and outside the basketball court, we are really looking forward to having her on Gilas team once her naturalization pushes through,” dagdag ni Dy.

Kasalukuyang mi­yembro ng UP Fighting Maroons si Onoh.
