Palermo sisters wagi ng MOS sa PSL meet

MANILA, Philippines — Mahigit 20 tankers ang pinangalanang Most Outstanding Swimmer (MOS) awardees sa Class A at B ng Philippine Swimming League (PSL) Rebuilding Champions Swim Series for Class ABC and Novice Leg 3 na ginanap sa Diliman Preparatory School swimming pool sa Quezon City.

Bumandera sa listahan ang Palermo sisters na sina Ashley at Allyza ng Black Marlins Athlete’s Club na namayagpag sa girls’ division.

Nagrehistro si Ashley ng 60 puntos upang masikwat ang MOS award sa girls’ 12-year division habang umani naman si Allyza ng 81 puntos para pagreynahan ang girls’ 16-over class.

Nakasiguro rin ng MOS trophies sa girls’ division sina Rhianna A­ngat at Leanne Galvez sa 8-under, Rica Ansale at Ceanna Mitra sa 9-year, Milena Santos sa 11-year, Jana Articulo sa 13-year at Karyn Fortu sa 15-year.

Sa boys’ category, humakot si Manuel Perez ng Swim Care Aquathlon ng 150 puntos upang ma­ngibabaw sa boys’ 16-over division.

Kasama ni Perez sa MOS awardees sina Godfrey Pagurayan sa boys’ 9-year, Juris Coliyat sa boys’ 11-year, Kevin Chan sa boys’ 13-year at Ashton Jose sa boys’ 14-year.

“It was another successful staging of the Rebuilding Champions Swim Series. We would like to congratulate all winning teams and we are looking forward to see you again in the next edition of the series,” ani PSL President Alex Papa.
