Ravena nakamit ang ikalawang UAAP MVP title

MANILA, Philippines – Matapos si Bobby Ray Parks, Jr. ng Natio­nal Uni­­versity ay si Ateneo De Manila University guard Kiefer Ravena ang na­­ging ikalawang player na hinirang na back-to-back UAAP Most Valua­ble Player.

Mula sa kanyang hi­nakot na 69.5 statistical points (SPs) sa likod ng league-best na 18.9 points, 4.9 assists at 6.1 re­bounds per game para sa Blue Eagles, kinilala si Ravena bilang MVP ng 78th UAAP men’s bas­ket­ball tournament.

Nakamit ni Parks ng Bulldogs ang kanyang da­lawang sunod na MVP titles noong Seasons 74 at 75.

Tinalo ni Ravena ang karibal na si Kevin Ferrer ng University of Santo Tomas para sa top indivi­dual honor.

Nagposte si Ferrer ng 17.9 points at 8.2 rebounds per game para sa kanyang 67.36 SPs sa kampanya ng Ti­gers.

Nagtapos sa ikatlo si im­port Alfred Aroga ng NU sa kanyang 63.29 SPs sa ita­as nina La Salle star Jeron Teng (60.79 SPs) at Ed Da­quioag (60.57 SPs) ng UST.

Ang iba pang pumuwesto sa Top 10 sa MVP race ay sina Adamson im­port Papi Sarr (58.29 SPs), Karim Abdul (57.43 SPs) ng UST, Gelo Alolino (55.71 SPs), ng NU at sina Mac Belo (54.29 SPs) at Mike Tolomia (50.29 SPs) ng FEU.
