“At the risk of sounding like we are premeditating excuses, we have been snake-bit,” sabi ni Gilas coach Tab Baldwin sa problemang kinakaharap ng koponan.

“But that’s life. We have to keep better with whoever we are, whoever we have, cross our fingers and hope for the best,” dagdag pa nito.

“To me, history doesn’t mean anything as a coach. I know it means a lot to the players and we have to draw the positives out of it when we can. If it helps motivate the players, fine,” wika ni Baldwin. “But it’s about the team getting better. To me, Chinese Taipei doesn’t mean anything. They will mean something in the FIBA Asia.”
