MANILA, Philippines - Ang Mixers ang mas determinadong manalo at makalapit sa kampeonato.

Bumangon ang San Mig Coffee mula sa 12-point deficit sa second period para talunin ang Petron Blaze, 114-103, sa Game Five ng 2013 PBA Governors’ Cup Finals kagabi sa Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Umarangkada ang Mixers sa fourth quarter sa likod nina PJ Simon, Yancy De Ocampo, rookie Alex Mallari at James Yap para sa 3-2 bentahe sa kanilang best-of-seven championship series ng Boosters.

Isang panalo na lang ang kailangan ng San Mig Coffee laban sa Petron  para tuluyan nang angkinin ang kanilang ika-10 PBA championship, habang makakapantay ni coach Tim Cone ang record na 15 titulo ni legendary mentor Baby Dalupan.

“I think the key tonight is that we hit the big shots,” ani Cone. “It was a really good team effort.”

Ipinoste ng Petron ang 12-point lead, 46-34, sa 5:37 ng second quarter mula sa split ni import Elijah Millsap bago kinuha ng San Mig Coffee ang 113-99 bentahe sa huling 2:04 minuto ng final canto.

Humakot si Best Import Marqus Blakely ng 30 points, 15 rebounds, 7 assists at 2 steals para sa Mixers, habang naglista si Mark Barroca ng career-high tying na 22 markers, 10 assists at 2 boards.
