Marami ang nakapuna sa malaking ‘‘pagbabago’’ ni Paulo Avelino, both sa kanyang looks at sa, kumbaga, professional approach niya, as he and Sana Bukas pa ang Kahapon leading lady Bea Alonzo ay humarap sa media last Thursday, to announce that in less than two weeks time, mamaalam na sa himpapawid ang series nila.
Well, if during the presscon for Honesto, which was the series na kanyang nilabasan, prior to Sana Bukas Pa…, Paulo was kimi at matipid sa pagsagut-sagot sa mga tanong sa kanya ng members of the press present, this time, ginulat din ang mga ito with his smart and direct to the point replies to their questions.
Wala pang katiyakan how the series will end, anang creative head ng Dreamscape Entertainment Productions, producer ng Sana Bukas Pa…, si Randel Lindayag.
Pinag-uusapan pa raw nila at ng kanyang Creative staff. Gusto raw kasi nila, as much as possible, na mabigyan ng kaukulang excellent ‘‘exit” ang bawat character na involved sa series.
After all nga naman, they all did their shares, para hangaan at subaybayan ng avid viewers nito ang series.
Aside from Bea and Paolo, also in the cast of Sana Bukas Pa… are Susan Roces, Albert Martinez, Tonton Gutierrez, Dina Bonnevie, Malou Crisologo, Nikki Valdez, Francis Magundayao, Michelle Vito and Eddie Garcia and Anita Linda, in very special roles.
Jerome Pobocan at Tina Dayrit share directorial credits.
Bea hindi isasama si Zanjoe sa Bangkok
Right after the completion of her taping for Sana Bukas pa ang Kahapon, scheduled pala si Bea to leave for Bangkok, with her glamour team, obviously for a commercial shoot.
That’s why ‘di raw niya makakasama si Zanjoe, na may nakatakdang simulang series din.
Ang yet untitled series ni Zanjoe will be a follow-up to Annaliza, where he played adopted Dad to child actress Andrea Brillante.
In her case, ayon kay Bea, may sisimulan siyang movie for Star Cinema. Maliban kina Richard Gomez at Dawn Zulueta, wala pa siyang other details na maisi-share tungkol sa bago niyang pelikulang gagawin.
But as Bea always says: ‘‘I trust Star Cinema, in much as the same way I trust ABS-CBN.”
Bea has been under contract to the Network and Star Cinema more than a decade now.
Goma star of the hour
Speaking of Richard, star of the hour ngang maituturing ang former Regal Baby.
