Remember Bianca Lapus, former starlet at mother ng isa sa dalawang anak ni Vhong Navar­ro, si Yce who is still in his pre-teen?

His (Vhong) panganay, with another woman, is named Bruno.

Of Bianca, matagal na silang hiwalay ni Vhong. And obviously, mayroon na siyang bagong mahal.

Balitang habang nanalasa ang typhoon Glenda, she gave birth to a baby boy, whom she named       Elijah.

Congrats! Bianca.

Direk Joey pag-e-edit naman ng magazine ang pagkakaabalahan

Guess the latest title added to Direk Joey Reyes’ name, award-winning story and scriptwriter as well.

Well, he is currently the editor of the monthly entertainment magazine, Inside Showbiz.

But this doesn’t mean he is turning his back in showbiz. As a director, specially.

He has just finished a movie with Matteo Guidicelli as one of his stars. Soon, he will do a horror flick with, again, Matteo in the cast, plus Jason Abalos.

A graduate of the Dela Salle University, he majored in college, he once told us, in Literature.

It was Star Cinema who gave him his first break, as a director, if our memory serves us right. This was May Minamahal, which starred Aga Muhlach, Agot Isidro, Claudine Barretto, and Boots Anson-Roa.

Ironically, his last movie for Star Cinema also starred Aga. Titled Love Story, si Anne Curtis ang artistang babae sa pelikula.

For a while, naging talk show host siya ng isang programa sa TV5, kasama sina Cristy Fermin, Shalala, and Divine Lee.

As he said, ang pagiging editor ng isang magazine ay isang bago at magandang opportunity for him.

Saab tuloy na ang kasal

The late Francis Magalona would have felt happy to see his daughter, Saab, get married within this year, to her musician boyfriend, Jim Bacarro.

Saab, like her siblings Maxene at Elmo (Magalona) is a contract talent ng GMA 7. Para siyang sina Kylie Padilla and Geoff Eigenmann, whose parents are both showbiz royalties din na matatawag. Kylie is the daughter of Robin Padilla. Si Geoff naman has for his parents former actress and now TV director of note, Gina Alajar, and actor Michael de Mesa.

Saab by the way, is also head of the band, Cheats.

Ate Vi may pakisuyo sa mga kaibigan ni Aida…

Let’s start this column with a sad but important pa­na­wagan from Governor Vilma Santos-Recto of Ba­tangas City, who to us in showbiz fondly address pa rin as Ate Vi.

She said in a text message she sent us: ‘‘Hi, Ate Vi here. Last night na si Ate Aida (Fandialan, her accountant and confidante, not to say, link ni Ate sa entertainment press) sa Wednesday night at may misa sa kanya. Libing na niya the next day (Thursday) sa Sucat (Parañaque) din.

‘‘If you have time, please visit her for the last time. Paratingin n’yo na rin ang message na ito sa iba pa na­ting kaibigan. Lalo na ang malalapit kay Ate Aida.

“Seven p.m. ang mass Wednesday.’’

Kasalukuyang nakaburol si Aida sa Loyola Memorial Park in Sucat. She died of a massive heart attack at the Asian Hospital Sunday ng 5 in the mor­n­ing.
