SO...CHISMIS ITOH!? - Ruel Mendoza - Pang-masa

Magiging available na sa US ang On the Job in Blu-Ray and DVD format on Feb. 18. Orders can be made via Amazon.com for $16.98 (Blu-Ray) and $14.98 (DVD).

Pero dito sa atin, magkakaroon na ng release ang OTJ sa DVD format in its theatrical version on Dec. 19. Star Cinema ang maglalabas nito.

“There will be a director’s commentary, special features, and lots of deleted scenes on both home video versions,” say pa ng director.

“The consensus that we received from programmers is that while they love the Acosta role played by Joey Marquez, they thought the back story of his family only slows down the film and does not really advance the plot,” rason ni Direk Erik.

Sabi niya, “You know, I’ve been hearing a lot of how that particular scene is not really necessary but it is an important scene in the sense that it establishes how much Shaina’s character is being used as leverage by his politician father played by Michael de Mesa to keep Piolo Pascual’s NBI agent in line and make sure his son-in-law does his bidding.”

“Hinahanapan namin ng magandang timeslot ’yung The Gift. As of now, extended ang dalawang shows namin na Let’s Ask Pilipinas and Madam Chairman. Maganda kasi ang feedback sa ratings at sa advertising ng dalawang shows kaya we decided to extend it until early part of 2014.

“Dun sana namin ilalagay sa slot na iyon ang The Gift kung hindi sana na-extend ang isa sa dalawang shows. Nagkataon na both are given an extension kaya sa January na namin isasalang ang The Gift,” pahayag ni Ms. Wilma.

Naipaliwanag na nila kay Ogie ang plano for his show at naintindihan naman daw niya.

“Ogie naman is very busy with both Mega and the Songwriter and Tropa Mo Ko Unli. Plus, marami pa siyang ibang tinatrabaho sa TV5. Nag-stop taping muna siya for The Gift,”dagdag pa ni Ms. Wilma.
