PH tankers raratsada sa SEA Age Group
MANILA, Philippines — Hahataw ang pambato ng Philippine Aquatics, Inc. (PAI) sa apat na events sa 46th Southeast Asian Age Group Championship na aarangkada sa Disyembre 6 hanggang 10 sa Bangkok National Swimming Center sa Thailand.
Mangunguna sa pambansang delegasyon si PAI Vice President Jessie Arriola kasama ang mga swimmers na umalis kahapon patungong Thailand.
Ipaparada ng Pilipinas sina Asian Age Group Championships gold medalist Jamesray Mishael Ajido at Riannah Chantelle Coleman kasama ang 10 pang tankers.
Pakay ng 12-man swimming team na malampasan ang dalawang gintong nakuha ng Pilipinas sa 2023 edisyon ng torneo na ginanap sa Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Pasok din sa listahan sina World Junior campaigner Micaela Jasmine Mojdeh, Ryian Zach Danzel Belen, Reinielle Jan Mikos Trinidad, Peter Cyrus Dean, Jaydison Edrei Dacuycuy, Ivo Nikolai Enot, Shania Joy Baraquiel, Sophia Rose Garra, Maxene Hayley, at Liv Abigail Florendo.
“Do your best, the very best. And that will be our line to this team and other teams in future competitions, local and international,” ani PAI Secretary General Batangas 1st District Congressman Eric Buhain.
Ito naman ang unang pagkakataon na magpapadala ang Pilipinas ng delegasyon sa junior water polo event at diving event gayundin sa artistic swimming.
“And then, of course, our usual good luck and take care message to our young swimmers. PAI believes our athletes perform better when they know their association supports them, all the way,” dagdag ni Buhain.
