Labing unang ANS Sports 3X3 basketball kasado na

CEBU, Philippines — Andam na ang tanan alang sa labing unang ANS Sports 3x3 Under-18 Basketball Tournament nga ipahigayon karong Septiembre 9-10 didto sa Sisters of Mary School (SMS)-Boystown sa Barangay Tungkop, Minglanilla.

Ang duha ka adlaw nga aksiyon orihinal nga gikatakda ning katapusan nga semana sa Agosto apan ang mga organizers nakahukom nga isibog kini ngadto sa laing petsa aron i-akomodar ang daghang mga tunghaan ug clubs nga nanghangyo og dugang panahon aron sila makaporma og teams.

"We re so excited to hold our first ever ANS 3x3 basketball tournament. Our goal really is to find untapped potentials. We know there are a lot of basketball players, but some are not just given equal opportunity," matud pa ni ANS General Manager Aris Gil Prieto atol sa pormal nga paglusad sa ilang torneyo niadtong Biyernes didto sa Black Smokehaus sa dakbayan sa Mandaue.

"So this is the best way that we could think of to give back to our community, to the Cebu basketball community. We hope to the best representative for Central Visayas in the national and hopefully in international competitions," padayon pa ni Prieto.

Aron pagdugang og lamas sa umaabot nga kalihukan, si Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP)- 7 deputy regional director Jojo Saso nagkanayon nga ang mga batan-ong Cebuano basketball ambassadors nga sila si MVP Jared Bahay sa Palarong Pambansa champion Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu (SHS-AdC) Magis Eagles, kanhi UST Growling Tiger Zach Huang, ug ex-PBA player Paul Desiderio nga sakop na karon sa Chooks 3x3 national team motambong unya sa pagbukas sa kompetisyon.

Sa laing bahin, ang Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation, Inc. (CESAFI) mihatag na sab sa ilang pagtugot aron paapilon ang mga miyembro nilang tunghaan sa kompetisyon nga naglangkob og boys and girls category.

Upat lamang ka miyembro ang gitugotan matag team, puydeng gikan sa usa ka tunghaan o club o sagol sa duha.

Miabot ngadto sa P70,000 nga ganting salapi ang ipanghatag sa mga mananaog.

Ang makampiyon sa boys division mobulsa og P30,000. Ang mopahiluna sa ikaduhang dapit makubra og P20,000 samtang ang malandig sa ikatulong puwesto ingon mana ang MVP makadawat og P5,000. Ang manghawod sa girls division mobira og P10,000.

Alang sa mahinungdanong kawsa, si ANS Sports chairman Marvin Aller, nga usa ka alumnus sa SMS-Boystown, nagkanayon nga tipik sa kita sa ilang kalihukan ilang idonar sa pinaagi niyang tunghaan.

  In behalf of all the sisters and the students, teachers and staff of SMS Boystown, thank you very much for choosing our school as venue for this 3x3 event. This is an honor and privilege for us to be visited by people because our school, our institution live by donation," dason pa ni SMS-Boystown principal Sr. Eva R. Aringo.

"We are blessed to survive through the generosity of many people that is why when Mr.Marvin (Aller) came to our school, I didn t need other mind to say yes because I know what he is doing will also help our school, not just by donations but also giving our students the chance to witness the competition and interact with other people,  dugang pa ni Aringo.
