Swimming Pinas kampeon sa PSI Grand Prix
MANILA, Philippines — Nasungkit ng Swimming Pinas ang overall championship title sa 2019 Philippine Swimming Inc. (PSI) Short Course Grand Prix National Championships na ginanap sa Trace College Aquatic Center sa Los Baños, Laguna.
Pinangunahan ni Brent International School-Laguna student Micaela Jasmine Mojdeh ang kampanya ng Swimming Pinas matapos humakot ng apat na ginto at isang pilak na medalya sa girls’ 11-13 division.
Naibulsa rin ng Philippine national junior record holder na si Mojdeh ang Highest FINA Points award sa girls’ class matapos magtala ng 618 puntos nang makuha nito ang 5:03.90 minuto sa 400m Individual Medley event.
“Closing 2019 meet with a bang. You all have been wonderful to us. See you next year for a much more enjoyable Grand Prix Series. Congratulations Philippine Swimming. Fast times are really coming. We are proud to be part of it all,” ani Swimming Pinas team manager Joan Mojdeh.
Nakatuwang ni Mojdeh sina Hugh Antonio Parto na nahablot din ang Highest FINA Points trophy sa boys’ 11-13 category at Jules Mirandilla na Highest FINA Points awardee sa boys’ 16-18 class.
Nakahirit din ng medalya sina Marcus Johannes De Kam, Jordan Ken Lobos, John Neil Paderes, Triza Tabamo, Lee Grant Cabral, Marc Bryan Dula, Yohan Cabana, Julia Basa at Ivan Radovan.
Ang iba pang miyembro ng Swimming Pinas team ay sina Jacob Arabes at Albert Sermonia.
