10 ginto puntirya ng PSL sa Japan swimfest

MANILA, Philippines -  Puntirya ng Philippine Swimming League (PSL) na makapag-uwi ng 10 gintong medalya sa 2017 Japan Age-Group Swimming Championship na gaganapin sa Marso 11 hanggang 12  sa St. Mary’s International School swimming pool sa Tokyo, Japan.

Naniniwala si PSL President  Susan Papa na handang-handa na ang kanyang bataan na makipagsabayan sa matitikas na tankers na lalahok sa torneo gaya ng mga pambato ng host Japan, China, Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Vietnam at mga European countries tulad ng Great Britain, Germany at Netherlands.

“We expect to win 10 golds last year of the same month we won 13 golds. We hope to break more meet records this time,” pahayag ni Papa.

Tinukoy ni Papa ang 13 ginto, pitong pilak at anim na tansong nakamit ng PSL noong Marso ng nakaraang taon sa Winter Kanto Plain Championship na ginanap din sa Tokyo kung saan apat na rekord ang naitala ng koponan kasama pa ang tatlong Most Outstanding Swimmer (MOS) awards na naibulsa nito.

Binubuo ang delegasyon ng 18 tankers sa pangu­nguna nina Micaela Jasmine Mojdeh ng Immaculate Heart of Mary College-Parañaque at Marc Bryan Dula ng Weisenheimer Academy na siyang itinanghal na MOS sa Winter Kanto Plain Championship.

Raratsada rin sina Sean Terence Zamora, Lee Grant Cabral, Triza Haileyana Tabamo, Tom Aubrey, Master Charles Janda, Trump Christian Lusitro, Joco Miguelle Delizo, Julianne Cristine Javier, Martin Jacob Pupos, Dave Angelo Tiquia, Jabrielle Marcos Delizo, Alexi Lucile Gapultos, Jacob Ethan Gapultos, Jude Austin Gapultos, Trixie Ortiguerra at Yshie Ortiguerra.

Muling nagpasalamat si Papa  kina District 2820 Club of Tsukuba Ibaraki President Atushi Amemiya, District 3810 Rotary Club of Manila Remedios Circle President Elect Marie Grace Macatangay, former President Marcelino Dalen na siyang delegation head, Akihuko Sudo ng Fujita Trading Corporation at Hiroshi Katsumata na siyang nagmamay-ari ng Katsumata Boxing Promotions.
