Arum, Pacquiao at Marquez mag-uusap sa Macau

MANILA, Philippines - Inaasahang mapapanalisa ni Bob Arum ng Top Rank Promotions ang pang-limang paghaharap nina Manny Pacquiao at Juan Manuel Marquez sa Setyembre.

Sinabi ni Arum sa pana­yam ng 8countnews.com na magkikita sina Pacquiao at Marquez sa Macau sa Abril 6 para panoorin ang pro debut ni Chinese two-time Olympic Games gold medal winner Zou Shi­ming kontra kay Mexican Eleazar Valenzuela (2-1-2, 1 KO) sa isang four-round flyweight bout sa Venetian’s Cotai Arena.

“He’s (Marquez) with me going to Macau and Manny is coming from Manila to Macau to watch the April 6 show,” wika ni Arum. “So we’ll have a very inte­resting discussions while both fighters are in Macau.”

Kasalukuyang abala si Pacquiao sa paghahanda sa kampanya para sa kanyang ikalawang sunod na termino bilang Sarangani Congressman.

“Manny is in his political mode, He is running unopposed. His wife (Jinkee) is running for (Sarangani) Vice-Governor, his brother (Rogelio) is running Congress. He’s running the campaigns of about a do­zen of Mayoralty candidates in the Philippines,” ani Arum kay Pacquiao.

“So he’s got a hands full in politics, but he wants to fight in September. Hopefully, we’ll match him for another time against (Juan Manuel) Marquez, but we’ll see,” dagdag pa ng  81-anyos na promoter.
