7 eksplosibong laro didribol sa 10th NAASCU

MANILA, Philippines - Si dating Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) chairman Harry Angping ang magiging guest of ho­nor at speaker para sa pag­­bubukas ng 10th Natio­nal Athletic Association of Schools, Colleges and Uni­versities (NAASCU) basketball tournament nga­­yong araw sa Rizal Memorial Coliseum.

Ibabahagi ni Angping ang kanyang inspirational remarks sa makulay na ope­ning ceremony na magtatampok sa parada ng mga koponan at ang pagpili sa Mr. and Ms. NAASCU.

Inimbitahan rin sina BAP-Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas chairman Gov. Oscar Moreno at ABS CBN managing director Gina Lopez para sa natu­rang opening rites ng nasabing 12-school collegiate sports league.

Si NAASCU president Dr. Ernesto Jay Adalem ng St. Clare College-Caloocan ang siyang magbibigay ng welcome remarks, habang ipapakilala naman ni Engr. Josie Balon ng AMA Computer University ang magpapakilala kay Gov. Moreno at si Fr. Emilio Ja­ruda ng San Sebastian College-Cavite ang sa panig ni Angping at si Atty. Ernesto de los Santos ng University of Manila para kay Ms. Lopez.

Pangungunahan ni Ray­­­mond Alcasabas ng SSC-Cavite ang pagbasa ng oath of sportsmanship. Agad na makakasagupa ng defending champion SSC-Cavite ang multi-titled UM sa ganap na alas-12 ng tanghali.

“We expect this year’s NAASCU basketball competition to be as successful as the previous nine years,” sabi ni Dr. Adalem. “SSC-Cavite is be gunning for its third straight title, but the rest of the teams have prepared long and hard to make a run for the title this year.”
