“We already decided on the lineup of our team in the YOG except one slot. They are Michael Tolomia, Jeron Teng and Ray Ray Parks,” wika kahapon ni SBP executive director Noli Eala.
“We’re reserving one slot for a guy named Rosner, a 16-year-old, 6-7 Fil-Am from Indiana discovered by coach Eric Altamirano,” ani Eala. “He’s very good according to Eric, with a body of Rafi Reavis and plays like KG Canaleta.”
“If the organizing committee agrees, we will bring him (Rosner) in, we might squeeze him in the last minute,” wika ng SBP official. “Hopefully we could get him to play in the YOG. If he’s not going to be allowed, we’ll probably get Michael Pate, who is also a member of the RP team.”
Ang RP Team na mamandohan ni dating La Salle standout Mon Jose ay kabilang sa Group D kasama ang Croatia, Spain, South Africa at US Virgin Island, habang nasa Group A ang Greece, India, New Zealand, Puerto Rico at Serbia at kagrupo ng Argentina at Iran sa Group B ang Egypt, Lithuania at Panama.
Nasa Group C ang Israel, Singapore, Turkey, the United States at kinatawan ng Central Africa.
