May bagong pamunuan na sa BSCP

MANILA, Philippines - Sa pagkakait sa hinihinging aplikasyon para sa Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) ni Ernesto Fajardo sa isang Makati Regional Trial Court, tuluyan nang nagbago ang liderato sa Billiard and Snooker Congress of the Philippines (BSCP).

 Hindi na napigilan ni Fajardo ang nangyaring botohan ng mga bagong opisyales ng BSCP kahapon na nagtampok kay Bong Ilagan bilang presidente.

 Maliban kay Ilagan, dating opisyal ng Project: Gintong Alay ni Michael Keon, ang iba pang nahalal sa kanya-kanyang posisyon ay sina Aristeo "Putch" Puyat (chairman), Joaquin Perez de Tagle (secretary-general) at Jo-nathan Sy (treasurer).

 Ang nasabing eleksyon ay ginabayan ni tennis association chairman Col. Buddy Andrada bilang kinatawan ng Philippine Olympic Committee.

 Sa kautusan ng Makati RTC, sinabi nitong 'that issues to be resolved are the qualification and eligibility of members as well as their corresponding right to vote, thus in the nature of an intra-corporate dispute that should be heard by the commercial court designated by the Supreme Court in the City of Makati.'

 Inireklamo ng grupo ni Fajardo at chairman Yen Makabenta ang estado ng pagiging miyembro ng kampo ni Ilagan.

 Sa bagong Constitution and By-Laws ng POC, isinasaad nitong ang Olympic Committee ang siyang magiging huling arbitrator at tagaayos ng internal dispute sa mga National Sports Associations (NSA)s.

 Ikinasiya naman ni BMPAP president Atty. Vic Rodriguez ang bagong pamunuan ng BSCP sa ilalim nina Puyat at Ilagan. (Russell Cadayona)
