Pinalitan ng 53-anyos na si Angeles ang nasabing posisyon na dating inuupuan ni Chito Loyzaga ng San Miguel Corporation (Magnolia Ice Cream). Si Loyzaga ay nanungkulan sa liga ng isang taon.
"I’m grateful for my fellow board members for the trust they gave to me, rest assured I’ll do everything to keep the programs they started," wika ni Angeles. "I will work vigorously to entice other companies to join the league so that they can also help aspiring cagers achieve their dreams."
Hinirang naman sina Cecilio K. Pedro, may-ari ng Hapee Toothpaste at Mikee Romero, CEO ng Harbour Centre bilang vice chairman at treasurer, ayon sa pagkakasunod.
