Nestea beach volleyball Visayas elims papalo

Magpapatuloy ang aksiyon ngayon sa 9th Nestea Beach Volleyball tournament sa La Salle Greenhills sandcourt para sa two-day Visayas eliminations ng men at women’s division.

Labing dalawang koponan sa dalawang divisions ang maglalaban-laban ngayon sa pangunguna ng men’s champion San Jose Recoletos at women’s titlists Southwestern University na hahatiin sa tatlong grupo.

Bawat grupo ay lalaro ng tatlong matches upang matukoy ang walong quarterfinalists. Ang top-four sa men at women’s division ay makakasama sa semifinals na gaganapin sa Boracay finals sa May 5-7 kung saan paglalabanan ang P100,000 na champion prize.

Makakasama dito ang mga qualifiers mula sa nakaraang Luzon leg at sa Mindanao eliminations na gaganapin sa Huwebes kung saan walong koponan lamang ang maglalaban-laban sa bawat divisions kaya isang araw lamang ito.

Kabilang sa mga nag-qualify mula sa Luzon ay ang College of Saint Benilde, Adamson, Far Eastern at St. Francis of Assisi sa men’s division ng event na ito na hatid ng Nestea sa tulong ng Speedo, Mikasa, Cebu Pacific, Hey Jude Resorts, La Salle Greenhills, Villa de Oro, Coppertone, Boracay Regency, Power Plant Mall, National Sports Grill at Click the City.com.

Sa women’s division, pumasok ang NCAA titlist Philippine Christian U, FEU, St. Benilde at University of Baguio.

Ang kalahok na team ay ang Colegio de Purisima Concepcion, University of Cebu, Iloilo Doctors College, St. Paul Business School, University of Negros-Occidental Recoletos, University of San Agustin, University of San Carlos, University of St. La Salle, University of Southern Philippines at University of Visayas.
