Natonal jins nanalasa

Trinangkuhan ng mga national athletes na sina Roberto Cruz, Brix Darmo Ramos, Eva Marie Ditan at Sally Solis, na-sweep ng Las Piñas City ang senior men’s and women’s team gold medals sa katatapos na Petron national taekwondo championships sa Ninoy Aquino Stadium.

Nanalasa ang six-time SEA Games champion na sina Cruz at Ramos nang igupo ng Las Piñas ang Manila (Team A) at Quezon City sa men’s team competition.

Nakipagtulungan naman sina Ditan at Solis, SEAG gold medalists na gaya ni Cruz sa mga ka-teammate na sina Louise Anne Villajoquin, Heraldine Quesada at Maria Cristina Ham upang balikatin ang Las Piñas sa women’s crown matapos na hiyain ang Quezon City at Manila.

Nakakuha naman si Cruz ng suporta mula kina Michael Torres, Brix Darmo Ramos, Ramon Abejero, Alvin Taraya, Elmer Gregorio at Edward Cruz.

Ang iba pang koponan na hinirang na kampeon ay ang Central Luzon at Manila (A), junior at men and women, ayon sa pagkakasunod at ang Manila (A), gradedschool boys and girls.

Tinanghal na best players ng team event sina Cruz, Solis, Esther Marie Singson (junior women), Kervin Ong (junior men), Gyle Fenoso (boys) at Shamara Meyer Noel (girls), habang ang mga best individual performers ay sina Tshomlee Go (men), Eunice Alora (women) Ramos (junior men), Gerrielyn Decatus (junior women), Edison Ba-gaipo (mid-junior men), Crystal Pauline Reyes (mid-junior women), Kirk Barnosa (boys) at Alyssa Bonifacio (girls).

Pinangunahan ni Cruz ang iba pang national jins na nag-domina ng individual competitions.

Ibinulsa ni Cruz ang gold sa men’s finweight class nang kanyang talunin si Jose Emmanuel Enriquez ng San Beda.
