Nasa mga players na iyan! – Trinidad

Ayon kay PBL Commissioner Chino Trinidad, nasa mga players na kung sila ay sisipot sa PBA Draft Camp na nakatakda sa Biyernes sa SM Megamall Parking lot.

Sinabi ni Trinidad na tumanggap ng pormal na sulat mula kay PBA Commissioner Noli Eala kahapon na ang tanging magagawa nito ay ipaabot sa mga player ang request ng PBA ngunit ang kanilang pagsipot sa camp ay desisyon na ng team management.

Ayon kay Trinidad, plano ng tatlong koponan--Welcoat Paints, Dazz Dishwashing Liquid at ICTSI--na umalis ng Biyernes para sa out-of-town game ng PBL sa Lucena City.

Kabilang sa mga posibleng di makarating sa Camp ay sina Romel Adducul, Eddie Laure, Ronald Tubid, Reynel Hugnatan, Bruce Dacia, Cyrus Baguio at Hubert John Feriols.

"Pwede ko silang pakiusapan, but the final decision lies with their respective teams, I would just like to request na sana, huwag nilang patawan ng sanction itong mga players na may valid reason why they can’t show up at the Draft Camp," dagdag nito.

Siguro, puwede i-sanction ng PBA ‘yung mga players na walang valid reason bakit di sila nagpakita sa Draft Camp."

Sinabi ni Eala sa kanyang sulat kay Trinidad na "the PBA shall respect any prior commitments which the PBL Players have in the enforcement of league policy with respect to the Rookie Camp. We would like to reassure the PBL that, like in the past, we have no intentions of disrupting the remaining calendar of your present season."
