Megaworld generates P28 billion in sales from residential projects

MANILA, Philippines — Property giant Megaworld Corp. has booked P28 billion in sales after fully selling out its residential villages in Metro Manila and key provincial areas.
Megaworld said it has carried strong momentum in its residential business after registering robust reservation sales for various vertical residential projects early this year.
The company sold out lots in four of its residential villages across Metro Manila, Ilocos Norte, Cavite and Palawan.
These include Paragua Beach Village within the 462-hectare Paragua Coastown township in Palawan, Maple Grove Park Village inside the 140-hectare Maple Grove township in Cavite, Ilocandia Beach Village within the 84-hectare Ilocandia Coastown township in Ilocos Norte and Embassy Hills in Quezon City.
Megaworld president and CEO Lourdes Gutierrez-Alfonso said sustained demand for these developments reflects the strength of the company’s township model and reinforces its confidence in the long-term growth potential of its master-planned communities nationwide.
She said Megaworld continues to pursue its strategy of diversifying its residential portfolio to address the evolving needs and preferences of homebuyers and investors.
“Beyond our condominium developments, we remain focused on expanding our horizontal residential offerings, which continue to generate strong market interest across our townships not only in Metro Manila but also in key growth areas in the provinces,” Gutierrez-Alfonso said.
Megaworld is one of the country’s biggest property developers with over 800 residential developments.
“Townships remain at the heart of our business. With each one — residential, office, retail and hospitality come together,” Megaworld chairman Andrew Tan said during the company’s annual stockholders’ meeting yesterday.
