MANILA, Philippines - The Philippine Green Building Council (PHILGBC) embarked on a program to develop the national green building rating system named “BERDE - Building for Ecologically Responsive Design Excellence."
To ensure that the development of BERDE is unbiased and reflects the opinion of government, industry and the academic community, the PHILGBC, in partnership with UK Trade and Investment, will host a series of events for the public under the “Building Green – The CEO and Government Forum” on Jan. 26 and 28 at the Makati Shangri-la Hotel. The forum aims to find solutions to the various issues raised in the ongoing sustainability dialogue in the industry.
