SpongeBob turns pink

MANILA, Philippines - Get ready to be tickled pink! For the first time in the Philippines, Nickelodeon in partnership with ICANSERVE Foundation supports the Breast Cancer Month by launching an exclusive range of limited-edition SpongeBob PinkPants merchandise for kids and adults, which includes graphic shirts, pillows, tote bags, baller IDs, and bandanas only available from Oct. 1-31 at all SM Department Stores nationwide.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month is an annual international health campaign organized by major breast cancer charity institutions every October to increase awareness for the disease and to raise funds for research into its cause, prevention and cure. The campaign also offers information and support to those affected by breast cancer. During this month, conferences, workshops, talks, walks, marathons and other breast cancer awareness activities are done all over the world.

“We hope to be able to help in raising funds to find a cure, and send a positive message of support to all those afflicted with this disease,” says Jack Yew, vice president, Nickelodeon & Viacom Consumer Products – South Asia, Greater China & Australia/New Zealand.

You can also catch SpongeBob at the ICanServe launch in Cebu on Oct. 2 and at SM Megamall department store on Oct. 4, as he makes a special appearance during the ribbon-cutting ceremony. For more information, check out http://www.icanserve.net/ and www.nicksplat.com.
