While there were a lot of ethnic touches in the collection, TanGan citified the silhouettes into something she called "Ethno Metro". Graphic black and white coordinates were secured by deconstructed denim obi sashes, long tube dresses were paired with pants to echo the Vietnamese ao dai, kimono lapel-like cowl necks and Roman toga-inspired draping gave dramatic contrasts to bootleg pants.
Then there is the innovation called the TG Convertible Wrapmulti-purpose knit tops where one or two of the sleeves can be converted to scarf, turban or shawl. Lulus day-to-evening looks, palanggas, were matched successfully with latest footwear from Figlia and Celine, accessories from Fernandez-Campos and Fino.
Patrick Rosas and his team of maquillage magicians kept the models aglow with blushy cheeks and rosy lips, thanks to Shiseidos new shades. Eric Faury of Franck Provost styled the models, keeping faithful to the TanGan concept.
Remember, palanggas, "If we stop and look, we will see God at work." Smile. See you.
