Filipinos to pray a million rosaries for world peace

MANILA, Philippines - “A Million Roses for the World” (AMRoW) is a prayer project to enlist one million Filipinos to pray the Holy Rosary for peace, one country at a time, from Oct. 10, 2011 to May 30, 2012. Coinciding with the 60th anniversary of the Family Rosary Crusade, the campaign has a book and CD outlining the specific intention of the day. Spearheaded by Ambassador Howard Dee in collaboration with Archbishop Socrates Villegas and Ma. Lourdes Zaragoza-Banson, AMRoW is the Filipinos’ response to Our Lady’s call to pray the rosary. Celebrities Kris Aquino, Lucy Torres-Gomez and Tweetie de Leon-Gonzalez have committed to be the project’s ambassadors.
