The world is getting more exciting with technological innovations that are offered in the market every day.
Always the innovative leader in information technology, Samsung Electronics Philippines Corp. (SEPCO) launched its brand new line-up of Large Format Display (LFD) monitor and projector products at Rustan’s Department Store in Makati City.
Guests were toured around an elaborate set up that defined each of the new product’s features. DJ Mia Bayuga hosted the tour.
The new LFD monitors were displayed around the second floor of the ladies’ section of the department store, showing the guests exactly what these new products are capable of doing. These products come in various screen sizes from 32” to 46” and 55”, perfect for building up large format in-store video walls. And with the ultra-thin and super narrow bezels at an outstanding 5.2mm to 5.7mm, the monitors were shown as completely ideal for seamless viewing experience.
SEPCO business unit director Eric Sulit said, “We have integrated the Touchscreen Display technology into the new LFD monitors to create an extremely interactive experience that is so simple and easy to use. Updating files and databases for in-store displays has also been made effortless as these cutting-edge products play videos, music and images without the need for a computer as access to information is made via USB.”
Product manager for SEPCO LFDs Mark Labit added, “These products use the ground-breaking Samsung LED backlight technology, making for superb image brightness, display and quality yet are still nature-friendly as they save plenty of energy. Extremely light in terms of weight, they are also easy to manage and install whenever and wherever.”
The art of fine living
French culture has truly mastered the art of fine living. Of late, it has brought to Manila the latest word on statement furniture: Ligne Roset, the French brand of contemporary design with a storied history.
From its original home in the artisan towns of eastern France, Ligne Roset brings a 150-year-old tradition of exceptional craftsmanship and design ingenuity to Manila’s living rooms. The brand comes to the Philippines by way of Mos Design Gallery, a design gallery that features a global mix of designers.
The French brand works in collaboration with over 70 designers. Creative director Michel Roset says, “Among our freelance team of designers, about 70 people, a large number of them, are famous and well known in Europe and abroad. They share with us the same philosophy regarding design, sociological evolution and our way of life. It’s quite a mixed group some are more specialized in certain domains; they come from different countries; some are just out of design school or very experienced.”
Guests saw samples of this new brand in a cocktail that had them sipping Moët and Hennessy and Belvedere Vodka while having delicious hors d’oeuvres prepared by Cav.
