MANILA, Philippines — Chilean President Michelle Bachelet is in the country for a state visit and to attend the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation summit of leaders.

Bachelet, the first head of state to arrive this week for the high-level meetings in the Philippine capital, was greeted by Vice President Jejomar Binay as the Air Force Chile aircraft landed at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 2 on Sunday morning.
