MANILA, Philippines -- Dr. Felino Brunia Jr., medico-legal officer based in Camp Crame, has admitted that he failed to submit the metallic fragments and slugs recovered from cadavers of the victims in the Maguindanao massacre.
During the direct examination, Brunia told the Quezon City court that he was shocked to discover that the five plastic sachets containing the metallic fragments are still in his drawer inside his office.
However, Assistant chief state prosecutor Richard Anthony Fadullon said it will have no bearing on the multiple murder raps lodged against the primary accused--former Datu Unsay Mayor Andal Ampatuan Jr.(Dennis Carcamo)
