Maguan: I’m not source of info

I respectfully write to you this letter in the interest of correcting an error in attribution by the “Probe on Rolito Go’s special privileges sought” by Non Alquitran on Dec. 10. In the said article, it is mentioned that I, Eliot Maguan, was interviewed and was the source of the details indicated therein.

I categorically state that I was not interviewed at any time by any reporter from any news or media organization regarding the details discussed in the article. Furthermore, though I am in no position to challenge the veracity of the details stated in the said article, I personally have no knowledge about the said details.

In light of this fact, I humbly and sincerely request that the honorable editorial staff of The Philippine STAR take the necessary corrective measures to resolve this error in attribution and prevent further future repetition of the said mistake.
