P7.2B gi-disburse sa SSS alang sa 13th month pension

Gi-disburse, sa ato pa, gi-released na, dili kay gigahin o gi-appropriate lang ang maong kantidad alang sa 13th month pensions, nga matud ni SSS Officer-in-Charge sa Benefits Administration Division Normita M. Doctor, in time for Christmas.

The amount of the 13th month pay depends on the employee's minimum wage rate at the time of retirement, and should be equal to one-twelfth of that year's basic salary.”

Who is eligible for SSS 13th month pay? “13th month pension - payable every December to total disability pensioners; for partial disability pensioners, 13th month pension shall be paid provided that pension duration is at least 12 months. If qualified, the member is granted a monthly Retirement Pension, plus a 13th Month Pension payable every December.” Sabut?

Unsa man kining “8282” gihisgutan sa unahan? “8282 or the Social Security Act of 1997 provides that, It is the policy of the state to establish, develop, promote and perfect a sound and viable tax-exempt social security system suitable to the needs of the people throughout the Philippines, which shall promote social justice and provide meaningful protection to members.”

“Along with the early release of 13th month pensions, by the end of this year pensioners will also get their regular monthly pension for December in accordance with their contingency date. For instance, a pensioner who retired on July 19 will get his retirement pension for the month on December 19,” nagkanayon si Doctor. Sa atong gingon sa unahan, kon sa ice cream pa, ‘double yummy’ ang atong madawat ug matilawan sunod buwan. 

Dugang pa, ang fundo nga gi-released ug ang mga tseke alang sa 13th month pension, giluwatan na ngadto sa mga partner banks sa SSS ug ngadto sa postal office, sa niagi pang November 14. Mao ba?

Kahinumdom mo sa P1000 additional pension? Ania: “Former president Rodrigo Duterte approved a P1,000 across-the-board pension hike for SSS members in 2017. That same year, the state pension fund said it would seek to give another P1,000 increase before Duterte's term ends in 2022.”
