Truth, the most compelling force

Well, well, things are looking better in our landscape. The winds are shifting… Filipinos now are able to breathe, hopeful that finally, a bright light beams on the horizon. Truth, elusive and kept in the dark for about a decade, now surfaces forcefully.

Truth, indeed, can NEVER be suppressed! It forcefully will find its way out… barring all the stumbling blocks hurled against it. Any act of travesty of truth necessitates cover-ups. And any dishonest act generates a vicious cycle of dishonest deeds.

Perpetrators of such acts inextricably get entangled in a big, sordid web of massive lies as the cover-ups deepen!  As a result, entangled persons are compromised, beholden to the people who abet such acts. Tragically, they become hostages of their own acts!

Sadly, many people disregard the historically proven but often ignored reality: they may fool some people some of the time, but they cannot fool all the people all the time! They may be able to get away with lies, cheating, stealing, but as sure as day follows night, truth will catch up with them. 

Truth, the most compelling force there is… will forthrightly find its way out!
