When non-criminal undocumented individuals declare their intent to depart using the CBP Home Mobile App and successfully complete the vetting process, ICE will temporarily deprioritize them for detention or enforcement actions prior to their scheduled departure.

Individuals who are not lawfully present in the country and choose to register for voluntary departure through the CBP Home Mobile App will be provided with complimentary travel arrangements, a $2,600 departure incentive, and waiver of any penalties for failure to depart. Those requesting assistance will have their departures scheduled in a timely manner.

The CBP Home Mobile App enables individuals without legal status to coordinate their departure from the United States. The app provides opportunities for users to finalize work, school, and personal arrangements, facilitating an organized and lawful return process.

The CBP Home program enables eligible aliens to return to their country of origin as regular travelers without arrest, detention, or restraints. This program offers a structured and orderly alternative that provides assistance and flexibility in the repatriation process.

Civil fines associated with failure to depart following a final order of removal or a voluntary departure order in the United States will be waived. Payment of these fines will no longer be required.

To participate, illegal aliens must use the CBP Home Mobile App to record their intention to voluntarily depart the United States.
